As rough guidance – not a fixed price – you should expect around CHF 15,000 to 25,000 for a complete MVHR system including installation in a single-family house. Maintenance: keeping the system hygienic and efficient
A ventilation system is low-maintenance, but not maintenance-free. The key tasks are:
- Filter change every 3 to 6 months – dirty filters worsen air quality and increase electricity consumption.
- System cleaning every 1 to 2 years – so ducts and the heat exchanger stay hygienic.
- Function check of fans, sensors and controls.
